Topanga Studio Tour June 8 & 9

We are getting excited about the Studio Tour!!   We are making new pieces everyday from now until the event!!   There will be glass blowing demonstrations at 12:00 noon both days, snacks, drinks, friends, family and fun!  Hope you can come up and see our new creations!!

Weekend #1 Glass Studio Results

These are what we made our first weekend in the Glass Blowing studio!!  It is definitely more difficult than it looks!! The red one was my first paperweight ever!!  Love it!

PREPPING FURNACE FOR TONIGHT’S FIRING

WEEKEND #1 GLASS BLOWING

We are starting up the furnace tonight to start getting it ready for our first 2 day glass blowing weekend!  Very excited!  It will go up to 2250 degrees and be at temperature by Saturday morning.  We won’t put the glass in until the furnace has reached 1600 degrees, better for the crucibles.
